About the founder

Kayte is dedicated to creating safe spaces for people to learn, heal and be held by nature. With a diverse skill set as a qualified teacher, counsellor, horticulturalist, and self-proclaimed wanderer she brings over 25 years of experience to her therapeutic practice. She has facilitated safe spaces for children, youth, people with disabilities, the neurodiverse and gender diverse community, and adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Kayte is passionate about nurturing environments that foster emotional regulation, emotional intelligence, and grounding. Her unique approach combines her extensive background in education and counselling with her love for nature, allowing her to facilitate transformative experiences that promote well-being and personal growth.

Kayte is a Garden Therapist at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and finds great joy in going on adventures, spending time in her urban farm, and relaxing with her lazy kelpie Clancy.
